We will be starting ToGC 25 soon. As you have noticed, we have added new players at key positions and we will be starting heroic.
I want to stress that ToGC is not the same as ToC in terms of difficulty. Heroic doesnt mean the boss hits harder and they have more HP only. There are mechanic changes that demand smart play.
Because of this, some of you quite honestly, will not be invited to these raids. There is nothing personal about it, it's just that to give our raid the best shot at success, the 25 people in the raid have to be depended upon to not die to silly things, be able to dps targets correctly and immediately, and of course, to mitigate or deliver or heal the necessary damage that is incumbent on these encounters.
Dino has posted almost every log of almost every raid we've done in the past months. if you look at the views of those messages, there are less views than there are people in raid. This means some of you don't care to look at the logs to see the information. It's important to look at this information not only to see what you are doing, but to see what you are doing in comparison with people of your role. If you are a healer and you are lagging far behind, this information can help you. If you are a dpser you can see why your dps may be lower.
This information in these logs as well as what i see in game is going to be the determining factor of who we bring. If you die alot, these logs show it. If you stand in fire alot, these logs show it. If you are not dpsing correct targets, these logs show it.
To avoid publicly embarrassing anyone, I will NOT be giving reasons why you are not invited. If you are not invited to a raid and want to know why, please PM me. If you ask in guild chat why you aren't invited, I will direct you to the logs so you can see why we may not have invited you.
We have been carrying quite a few people through ToC/Ony, and while generally this has not been a problem (with exception of Anub'arak), we can't afford to carry people in heroic until we can comfortably and cleanly clear it.
Needless to say, people who come to ToGC have to read up and know what these fights entail. It's a simple and easy thing to read these strats. If you are not willing to read strats after all these weeks of this instance being out, you will not be invited to raids. |
